Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be home during the clean?
No. Most clients give a key, a door code, or leave a door unlocked. Whatever you are comfortable with — it is your house.
Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?
Yes, everything. If you would rather we used your products, that is fine too — just leave them out on the counter.
What about pets?
Pets are fine and they do not cost extra. Just mention what they are like so we know whether to keep doors or gates closed.
Can I skip or reschedule a visit?
Any time. There is no contract. Give us 24 hours notice and there is no charge. Inside 24 hours, or if we arrive and cannot get in, it is half the visit rate.
Why does the first clean cost more?
The first visit is a deep clean — inside appliances, baseboards, and the build-up a regular clean does not reach. After that, the recurring rate maintains it.
Will it be the same person every time?
Yes. You get the same cleaner every visit, not whoever is free that morning. We learn your house once and it stays learned.
How do I get an exact price?
Text a few photos of the rooms and roughly the square footage. We confirm the exact flat rate the same day, usually between jobs.
How long does a typical clean take?
It depends on size and condition. Most recurring visits run two to four hours. Vacation rental turnovers are scheduled to fit the checkout-to-check-in window.
What is not included?
Exterior windows, mold issues, pest problems and biohazards. If something falls outside the standard scope, we will say so up front rather than do it halfway.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — Alaya Home Cleaning LLC is a registered Florida company and insured. Property managers can request a certificate of insurance.

Do you clean Airbnbs and vacation rentals?
Yes — same-day turnovers on Pensacola Beach and Perdido Key, with linens handled and photos sent when the unit is guest-ready.
Do you need a card on file before the first clean?
Yes. A card goes on file when you book, the same as any cleaning service. Nothing is charged until the work is done, and regular clients are welcome to pay by cash or Zelle after that. The card holds your slot and covers late cancellations.
Do I have to do an in-home estimate?
Only if you want one. Text a few photos of the rooms and you will have a flat price the same day. If you would rather we came out and looked at the place first, that is free and takes about fifteen minutes. Either way works.
